Teddy Bear Club

The Teddy Bear Club is a baby and toddler group for mums, dads, grandparents, nannies and child minders and their babies and children up to 4 years old. We meet every Wednesday morning during term time from 9.45am to 11.45am and the cost is £2.00 per family per morning.

It is run by South Ruislip Christian Fellowship as a service to the community and is open to families of all faiths or none. Our aim is to provide a safe and friendly place for children and their carers to play and to make new friends, and to support carers by listening and sharing information and experience. There is no specifically Christian content to the morning but we pray that our conversations and our personal conduct will demonstrate the love of Jesus. Our families are always welcome to join in other church activities.

We have a range of toys and play equipment in the main hall, including sit-and-ride toys, prams, climbing frame, slide and small trampoline. In the smaller hall at the rear of the building there are (slightly!) quieter activities, e.g. puzzles, books, drawing/painting, construction toys. There is a separate area for small babies.

We play from 9.45am until 10.45, at which time the rear hall is cleared of toys for drinks and biscuits to be served to adults and children. Then more play until 11.40 when the session is rounded off with a short time for rhymes, songs, etc. in the main hall.
